More About Bridge Marina Watersport Rentals…

POWER BOAT RENTALS:

• Power boat rentals are available Tuesday through Sunday beginning at 8 am
• Boats must be returned on time.  Returns more than 10 minutes late to dock will incur a penalty of $500.
• NONE of our rentals are allowed into the Long Island Sound unless accompanied by a Bridge Marina Captain
• Rental of Power Boats REQUIRES previous boating experience
• YOU MUST BE 21+ YEARS OR OLDER TO RENT THE POWER BOATS
• Power Boat rental prices include gas
• Rental of Power Boats are by RESERVATION ONLY. Please call the office to reserve your rental boat at least a week in advance
• ALL RENTALS REQUIRE A $1,000  DEPOSIT, REFUNDED UPON RETURN OF CRAFT AND EQUIPMENT IN SAME CONDITION AS RENTED
• All power boats must be returned in the same condition it was provided at the time of rental.  Renters agree to pay all costs of repair as deemed necessary and appropriate by Bridge Marina, should a boat be returned damaged.  
• Renters take full personal responsibility for any damage that occurs to private or public property during the time of the rental 
• All personal floatation vests must be returned in the same condition it was provided at the time of rental.  Lost or damaged vests will incur a replacement cost of $100 per vest.
• All participants must wear the provided personal flotation device (PFD) at all times.
• Partial refunds will not be issued for unused time
• If there is poor weather the day of rental and Bridge Marina decides the rental must be delayed, we always guarantee that you can reschedule your rental and the credit will be applied to the later date. You don’t lose your rental or your money!  However, very often we find that the weather forecast is inaccurate or is specific to certain hours of the day and it’s best to check with us before your rental in regards to weather. 
• If you choose to cancel your reservation for any reason, we will be please to offer you a credit for future booking, less a $100 re-booking fee.
• For the safety of your dog, we do not permit canines on board our vessels. 
• No Boating while intoxicated.  While alcohol is permitted on our boats, we require a designated boater who is experienced and capable of operating the vessel at all times during the rental.  Please note the Nassau County Police Marine Division, US Coast Guard, and Bay Constables are always on patrol. They can board the boat at any time and perform a sobriety and/or safety check. 

Water Ski & Tube Rentals:

• Water skis and equipment must be returned in the same condition in which they are provided at the time of rental.  A replacement cost of $200 per set and $30 per rope will be incurred if rental is lost or returned damaged.
• Tubes and equipment must be returned in the same condition in which they are provided at the time of rental.  A replacement cost of $100 per tube and $30 per rope will be incurred if the rental is lost or returned damaged.
• Tubes and water skis are only intended for use by 1 person at a time.
• Maximum weight recommended for water tubes is 325 lbs.
• All participants must wear the provided personal flotation device (PFD) at all times.
• Refunds will not be issued for unused time

Captain for Hire:

• Requests for Captains are by RESERVATION ONLY. Please call the office to reserve your professional boat captain at least a week in advance
• All personal floatation vests must be returned in the same condition it was provided at the time of rental.  Lost or damaged vests will incur a replacement cost of $100 per vest.
• All participants must wear the provided personal flotation device (PFD) at all times.
• Partial refunds will not be issued for unused time
•  If there is poor weather the day of rental and you and/or Bridge Marina decide the rental must be delayed, we always guarantee that you can reschedule your rental and the credit will be applied to the later date. Additional Notices:

Please be aware if you are going fishing you are required to obtain at no-fee a New York State Recreational Marine Fishing License.  Please go to www.dec.ny.gov/permits/54950.html and follow the instructions to obtain your free license

Bridge Marina is not responsible for any lost or broken personal items, phones, etc. on the water

All participants must sign an assumption of risk and release of liability form prior to renting. Anyone rental that is not paid in full in advance will not be permitted to leave the marina.  

All children under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by and have their waiver signed by his/her parent or guardian.

No refunds or credits will be issued for bad weather once rentals have left the marina.

Bridge Marina COVID-19 Policy:

Bridge Marina is complying with the COVID-19 safety guidelines set by New York State and The Center for Disease Control. For a full list of our recent policy changes, please visit our COVID-19 Safety Procedures.  Masks are required when at Bridge Marina and social distancing must be observed in accordance with NY State guidelines.
